kid's ministries

Kids are people too (just in smaller costumes). We believe that helping kids grow in their relationship with the Lord is every bit as important as helping adults do the same.

To us, this is more than grinding through a curriculum. We want every person, regardless of age, to have an authentic relationship with God. We want to accurately model love for each other and friendship with Jesus, so that each child involved in DC Kid's Ministry, longs to know the Lord as well. This is part of the reason that kids, kindergarten and up, start their weekend worshipping with our community before heading across the hall to learn with their friends.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

We have a whole wing of our building dedicated to kids. As you enter the lobby, hang a left and a volunteer will be waiting to help you check your kids into the parent notification system.

BEAUTIFUL BABIES (birth - 24 months)

Loving care is available here for babies from birth through 24 months.

KING'S KIDS (ages 2 & 3)

These little ones gather together for Bible stories, simple crafts, prayer & worship, as well as lots of time to play.

PLAY & PRAISE (ages 4 & 5) These precious ones have a Bible lesson along with worship and crafts and... of course, snack time!

KID'S CHURCH (K - 5th grade)

Each week the children enjoy learning Biblical truths and how to apply them to their everyday lives. The format is lively, fun and engaging. Parents are encouraged to follow up with their child about what is being learned.
